How To Be Consistent

If you want to be a more consistent golfer Brown Bag Golf may be just what you’ve been looking for. That’s because Brown Bag Golf is designed to improve your results, not just your swing.

Brown Bag Golf is a performance training program. It’s all about helping you hit more fairways, reach more greens, and have fewer putts. And since that’s pretty much the secret to golf, it’s going to help you shoot lower scores with a lot less stress. It will make your range time a lot more efficient and a lot more fun, too!

Each week you’ll get one lesson plan with specific performance objectives. The lessons revolve around the five most important shots in golf: Putting, Driver, Greenside, Scoring Wedges, and Long Approach shots.

At the beginning of each week you’ll get a shot type (like Driver) and a performance metric (like making center contact). You’ll establish your initial performance measure (like hitting 5 of 10 in the center of the club face), then spend the rest of the week working on “leveling-up” your results (like reaching 8 of 10 in the center). It’s a simple – but very effective – way to improve your scores because you’re changing results, not your swing.

Lessons are designed to be completed in 35 to 40 minutes, which means you can do them on your lunch hour (thus the name Brown Bag!). So if you don’t have much time to practice, that’s another reason to get the course. If you do have more time to practice you can stack your lessons, working on several parts of your game over an extended period of an hour or two, and improve that much faster.

Brown Bag Golf will change your game: the way you practice, the way you play, and the way you score. And you’ll have a lot of fun doing it.

Course Overview

Brown Bag Golf is the first of its kind training program. It is a series of weekly lessons focusing on the five most important shots in golf: Putting, Driver, Greenside, Scoring Wedges, and Long Approach shots. With each lesson you’ll focus on one of the four prime metrics: Contact, Directional Accuracy, Distance Control, and Shape Consistency. In each weekly lesson you’ll establish a baseline performance measure and then spend the rest of the week working on leveling-up to a higher level of performance.

Each weekly lesson comes with a video explaining the lesson and showing how to train. You’ll get a lesson plan and worksheets to track your baseline performance level as well as your progress. Unlike traditional golf instruction programs that focus on changing your swing, Brown Bag Golf is focused on improving your results. That means you’ll see an immediate improvement in your play on the course.

The weekly lessons are purposely designed to be accomplished in just 30 to 40 minutes. On the days when you have more time to practice you can combine lessons to make the most effective use of your time at the range.
