Here’s a bit about what we are learning thus far. These are averages, but the graph shows some interesting data.
- Golfers rate themselves lower than their actual skills and habits would suggest: 61 average self-rating, vs. 65 actual results.
- Focus was the top rated skill at 70, while Practice was the lowest at 59.
- These numbers suggest that a more deliberate approach to practice and preparation would have a beneficial effect on results under pressure, and on self-confidence.
