My new book “The Clutch Golfer Formula” is finished!
Well at least the first draft is finished …
That’s where you come in!
How’d you like to get your eyes on a draft before it goes to publication? Have a chance to contribute to a finished book?
Each of my last few books used the power of technology to harness the collective wisdom of hundreds of like-minded golfers to collaborate in the editing and polishing of a final draft. It’s a fascinating process called crowdsourced editing, and it has produced back-to-back bestsellers.
We’re launching our crowdsourced editing campaign, and this is your invitation to participate. If you love reading golf books and would relish the opportunity to not only be the first to read a potentially game-changing book but also shape the final version, we want you on the team. Please sign up below.
All the instructions and links you need are organized for you inside the lessons once you enroll.
Click the tabs above to learn more about crowdsourcing, The Clutch Golfer Formula book, and the authors.
Click the TAKE THIS COURSE button below to register. We’re limited (by Google) to the first 200 Beta readers. Team members will be included in the book as a contributors.
Dr. Glen and Eric Jones
PS: The book is approximately 200 pages and takes about 3-4 hours to read on GoogleDocs. You’ll have around two weeks to make your comments and suggestions. Please budget your time accordingly.
CROWDSOURCED EDITING
COLLABORATIVE EDITING
For each of my last publications I’ve used a fascinating process called “Crowdsourcing” for the final book edits. I invited hundreds of golfers to read a pre-publication draft online and make comments, suggestions, and edits.
It’s a lot of fun for the readers because they get to read the book before everybody else, and their comments and suggestions get incorporated right into the final book. There’s a certain amount of pride that comes from knowing their ideas are in print.
I’d like to invite you to participate in my next publication
If you are not familiar with the idea, here is a definition of Crowdsourcing from Wikipedia:
Crowdsourcing “combines the efforts of numerous self-identified volunteers or part-time workers, where each contributor, acting on their own initiative, adds a small contribution that combines with those of others to achieve a greater result.”
The goal is to use the collective wisdom of many golfers to produce a fantastic final version that will add lots of value to other golfers and would be much better than any book I write by myself.
It’s a cool process. I literally have hundreds of golfers contributing to the final version and thousands of suggestions. It’s a lot of work on the back end because I read and respond to every comment. But the end result has been worth it, and has led to consecutive #1 Best Seller books.
All collaboration is done online using Google Drive and Google Docs. You read the online book and make comments right on the screen. Google Docs saves all the comments and book versions. Multiple people can even edit at the same time.
You’ll get to read the book before the public gets a chance. You’ll get to see comments from other collaborators. When you post a comment you’ll get your name in the book in the final version. You’ll get a f r e e copy of the book when it is published.
It will also help your golf game 🙂
I keep the comment period open for about two weeks. Then I incorporate all the suggestions and corrections into the book and publish it on Amazon.
If it sounds interesting and you want to join the team enroll today. I’ll send you a follow-up email with instructions and your link to the document for editing.
Thanks for your interest!
The Clutch Golfer Formula is a book about performing under pressure – particularly in clutch situations when the outcome is in the balance.
The Clutch Formula is a step-by-step process intended to be used on every shot to help all golfers execute more consistently. It takes the mystery out of knowing what to think about, how to manage emotions under pressure, how to get into your most athletic ready position, how to release the club with confidence, and how to quickly make adjustments on the course. The Formula has four simple steps:
Think back on your favorite golf shots: odds are they were pivotal moments when you hit a clutch shot that changed the match. Hitting clutch shots isn’t reserved for the pros. Every round will present you with a challenging situation where you have to come up big. The Formula is designed to evoke specific skills used by clutch players in critical situations. Being clutch isn’t hard – IF you know what to do.
The book is approximately 200 pages. The 12 chapters are divided into four sections:
Each chapter leads off with a story from a clutch player. The book is similar to Hogan’s 5 Lessons or a Bob Rotella book in that it is a manual for improving your game. It is a book we hope golfers will be referencing for years.

In 1989 Dr. Albaugh traveled to Russia with Legendary Hall of Fame 49ers coach Bill Walsh and Michael Murphy of the Esalen Institute to study Soviet Olympic athlete training and coaching programs. Those meetings influenced the direction of American performance-based coaching paradigms from the Olympics and professional sports to colleges, high schools and youth coaching.
Dr. Albaugh has been blessed to work with coaching thought-leaders from all corners of the sporting world, including Pete Carroll, Bill Walsh, John Dunning, Anne Walker, Nancy McDaniel, Conrad Ray, Fred Shoemaker, and Laird Small. Dr. Glen consulting clients over three decades include juniors to seniors and counts Champions Tour players, Scott McCarron and Kirk Triplett, Jeff Brehaut, Jeff Wilson (2018 USGA Senior Amateur Champion), and Charlie Wi.
He knew that changing the flow of information from the player to the coach was the first step toward giving golfers an opportunity to develop their internal feedback systems and apply the benefits of self-awareness, self-discovery and self-coaching.
He takes you on a journey into the inner game where you’ll experience the magic of rhythm and tempo (the forgotten fundamental), target retention, shot shaping, trajectory control, to get the benefit of his legendary Trust Drills a foundation for his profound insight that The Perfect Swing Is The One You Trust.
Dr. Glen remains passionately committed to changing the paradigm for practice whose singular purpose is to transition swings, mindsets and character to on course play.
