My
JOURNEY TO THE WORLDS 2012
Ever wish you could go behind the scenes and see what it takes to win a World championship?
I filmed many of my training sessions as I prepared for the World Long Drive Championship in 2012. And the result couldn’t have been any better!
Of course when I started I had no idea what would happen at the Worlds. My goal was to document the training methods I used to get ready. These are conversations I have all the time with my students as I try to help them understand the difference between what it takes to change a swing and what it takes to perform your best in competition. They are not the same thing.
I use the term “practice” to refer to a focus on swing changes. I use the word “training” to refer to a focus on performance. I use these words very deliberately because I believe that the sooner more golfers understand the difference the sooner they will actually get better at shooting lower scores (not making a prettier swing).
In the end it was training that helped me capture my 2nd World Championship. I encourage you to watch these videos and begin to incorporate some of the training methods into your range time so that you can start seeing better results in your golf game.
This course is free. Enjoy!
