Tiger Woods NOT Stanford’s Best-Ever College Player
Tiger Woods is NOT Stanford’s Best-Ever College Player
I know. Shocking, isn’t it?
Nope. Maverick McNealy holds the honor of Stanford’s best based on statistical scoring average and wins and hid numbers all top Tiger. McNealy graduated in 2017 and is now playing on the Web.com Tour with some sponsor’s exemptions on the PGA Tour.
Who knows what Maverick’s future holds?
Self-Awareness, Clarity, and a Plan of Action
But one thing you’ll learn from the Clutch Golfer Interview with his coach Conrad Ray is that Maverick knows what to do when the pressure is on. He has tremendous self-awareness. He knows what he needs to do to get himself focused in clutch situations.
Some of it is self-talk: the things you say to yourself in the heat of battle.
Some of it is the way you prepare, and I think you’ll get a lot out of the way the whole Stanford team practices and prepares for clutch moments.
Some of it is your pre-shot routine. And I love the way Coach Conrad talks about having clarity about the shot you want to hit and working that back into a plan of action.
Please take 12 minutes and listen to the Clutch Golfer interview with Stanford Coach Conrad Ray.
Then be prepared to give yourself the perfect pep-talk the next time you have a clutch shot.
More on clutch coming soon.
